The path behind the work.

I'm Varun, based in Kolkata. I've built a food venture, worked in SME lending and now help teams put AI to use.

An idea called Zenith

In 2006, I sketched Zenith: residential complexes replacing slums, with residents employed as construction workers and later as society maintenance staff.

I took a bus to a developer's office, but needed an appointment. I never made the follow-up call. Zenith stayed on paper.

Fudgle: making, selling and organising

Fudgle started with baking. The first order came from a friend who saw my WhatsApp status; referrals, festival stalls and delivery-platform orders followed.

My mother and I organised stations for bulk tiramisu orders. I changed packaging after spills and used Excel for recipes and ingredients. With 50+ products and unpredictable demand, we had waste we never fully solved.

I'd start again with three products and a clearer split between production and sales.

From experience to a clearer framework

At InCred in Mumbai, I worked across SME customer acquisition and delivery. Having clear revenue KPIs helped me focus.

My full-time PGDM in Marketing at IMT Ghaziabad gave those experiences a framework. I learned to define the question and KPI before choosing the analysis, and began using AI for research and presentations.

The work I want to do well

At Shakambari, I help colleagues put AI to use: simplifying cost-sheet work, writing guidance and training teams.

The aim is simple: systems people understand, with outputs checked before they are relied on.
